Method of testing of the seed traits and seedling development under abiotic stress conditions for selection of oilseed rape genetic resources

The method is based on laboratory tests of speed of seed germination, emergence and seedling growth under different stress conditions simulated by subnormal water level, extreme high and low temperatures. It allows to eliminate already at the seed level the plant materials (initial breeding materials and cultivars) which do not tolerate extreme temperatures and temperature changes during germination, have a low water use efficiency and are intolerant to abiotic stresors. It was confirmed that these genotypes have also poor field emergence and initial growth of roots with implications for further vegetation period, mainly for over wintering and spring regeneration what has significant influence on the yield. The method represents the tool for screening of genetic resources with the resistance to the abiotic stresors and this technology process is acceptable also for other crops.

Cílem projektu bylo operativní stanovení přítomnosti GMO v dodaných vzorcích, uchování referenčních vzorků pro laboratorní detekci a stanovení GMO, které mohou být využity pro výrobu potravin a krmiv, vypracování metodiky detekce vybraných GM brambor, přehled metod pro průkaz a stanovení GMO a GM produktů ve smluvních laboratořích MŽP ČR zahrnutých do sítě ENGL v ČR (SZÚ-CHPŘ, VŠCHT, VÚRV), zpracování přehledu referenčních vzorků uchovávaných na uvedených pracovištích a spolupráce s Joint Research Centre EC, plnění úkolů v rámci evropské sítě detekčních laboratoří GMO "ENGL".

Zabezpečení laboratorní detekce geneticky modifikovaných organismů včetně mikroorganismů

Cílem projektu bylo ověřování metodik vzorkování a stanovení přítomnosti GMO pro účely kontroly, účast na práci mezinárodní komise pro akreditaci GMO laboratoří, zapojení do přípravy příslušných norem na mezinárodní úrovni, zejména v EU, operativní stanovení přítomnosti GMO v rostlinných, příp. mikrobiálních materiálech ve vzorcích dodaných ČIŽP, uchovávání referenčních vzorků pro potřeby objednatele a ČIŽP, spolupráce se Společným výzkumným ústavem Evropské komise (Joint Research Centre EC) v Ispře, plnění úkolů v rámci evropské sítě detekčních laboratoří GMO (European Network of GMO Laboratories - ENGL), zprostředkování informací objednateli, spolupráce s ČIŽP při školení pracovníků a metodické konzultace pro pracovníky ČIŽP, poskytování podkladů SZÚ CHŘP Brno pro zpracování přehledu metod pro průkaz a stanovení GMO a GM produktů v laboratoři FPTB a podkladů pro zpracování přehledu uchovávaných referenčních vzorků.

Informační systém pro vyřazené automobily ISVA.CZ: Vyhodnocení pilotního testování informačního systému pro vyřazené automobily ISVA v rámci projektu SM/10/35/05

Zkušební provoz informačního systému pro vyřazené automobily ISVA (ISVA) otestoval jeho výhody a přínosy v praxi, ale odhalil i jeho skryté nedostatky, které byli při jeho návrhu a řešení opomenuty. Pro pilotní testování byly vybrány vhodné subjekty po celé ČR, které se dobrovolně a s ochotou snažili přispět ke zlepšení situace v oblasti nakládání s autovraky v ČR. Pilotní testování se nejvíce dotklo provozovatelů zařízení ke sběru autovraků a provozovatelů zařízení ke zpracování autovraků, kteří byly hlavním nosným prvkem pilotního testování informačního systému ISVA. Testování se zúčastnilo sedm subjektů z řad provozovatelů zařízení ke sběru autovraků a provozovatelů zařízení ke zpracování autovraků po celé ČR. Těchto sedm subjektů, které byly napojeny na informační systém ISVA vložilo během pilotního testování do informačního systému ISVA 341 autovraků, z kterých bylo 84 neúplných, 253 představovalo značku Škoda a zpracovaného materiálu z těchto 341 autovraků bylo 219,486 tun.

Development of mechanical trading strategy

The objective of this thesis is to: 1) explore and evaluate the trading platform MetaTrader, the programing language MetaQuotes and the IDE MetaEditor; 2) create a mechanical trading system for the platform MetaTrader; 3) test the system on the historical data. Contributions for this thesis consist of available theoretical information and observation from my own experiences with creation and testing of the mechanical trading strategy.

Testing server applications using web extension of framework TestNG.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on application testing, specifically unit testing. The first part of the thesis introduces a testing TestNG library, which is subsequently used for creating a set of recommendations and guidelines for writing quality application and test codes. The second part of the thesis develops a web tool based on the TestNG library that allows for effective testing of server applications. Attached to the thesis is a user manual for working with the tool that I have developed.

Application of the process analysis in quality assurance and software testing

This thesis deals with questions regarding quality assurance and software testing. The subject of its theoretical part is the specification of the general concept of quality, description of standards used in the field of software product quality evaluation and finally the evaluation of software development process itself. The thesis intends to introduce the theoretical framework of software quality assurance, especially the detailed analysis of the whole software testing branch. An added value to the theoretical part constitutes the characterization of procedural approach and selected methods used towards the improvement of processes. The practical part of the thesis comprises of the exemplification -- it shows the procedural approach at software quality management, applied to a selected IT company. The main aim of the practical part is to create a purposeful project for optimization of quality assurance and software testing processes. The core of the matter is to accomplish the process analysis of the present condition of software testing methodology. For the purpose of process analysis and optimization project, the models of key processes will be created; these processes will then be depicted based on defined pattern. The description of the state-of-the-art of software product quality assurance processes is further supplemented by the evaluation of such processes maturity. The project for optimization of software testing and quality assurance processes comes from the process analysis of the present condition of software testing methodology, as well as from the evaluation of procedural models maturity. The essence of processes optimization is the incorporation of change requests and innovative intentions of individual processes into the resulting state of methodology draft. For the measurement of selected quality assurance and software testing processes, the configuration of efficiency indicators and their application on particular processes is implemented. The research on the of the state-of-the-art, as well as the elaboration of this whole project for optimization of software testing and quality assurance processes runs in conformity with the principles of DMAIC model of Six Sigma method.
